Job summary

1Link Technology is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA for a 12+ month contract in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on administration, maintenance, upgrades, patching, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite environments deployed on-premises.

Responsibilities include migrations, high-availability, ADOP patching, APEX, RMAN backups, Data Guard, integration, and performance tuning. Onsite at the client's Memphis headquarters with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience with Oracle E-Business Suite database administration, upgrades and patching.
• Experience with high-availability configurations and online patching (ADOP).
• Strong Linux and scripting skills for Oracle DB administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Job description

1Link Technology has an immediate need for an Oracle Apps Database Administrator (DBA) for a 12+ month contract in Memphis, TN.The Apps DBA will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, upgrade, patching, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments deployed on-premises, non-engineered infrastructure.

WORKPLACE LOCATION - Onsite at client’s headquarters in Memphis, TN

QUALIFICATIONS - Must have senior-level experience with the following:

• Data migrations and upgrades of Oracle E-Business Suite database (migration 12c to 19cand upgrade 19c to 23ai)
• Administering and supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 high availability, always-on environments.
• Performing Oracle EBS R12.2 online patching (ADOP) activities
• Administering and supporting Oracle APEX environments.
• Supporting cloning operations for Oracle Database versions 19c, 23ai, and future 26ai environments.
• Administering Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) 19c backup and recovery solutions.
• Designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle Data Guard 19c environments.
• Ensuring secure and reliable integration between Oracle EBS and supporting applications
• Supporting Oracle EBS production environments and participate in maintenance windows, upgrades, migrations, and patch deployments.
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning Oracle Apps databases.
• Supporting large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite production environments.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a 12-month contract with anticipated extensions, located ONSITE in Memphis, TN
