Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic seeks a skilled Applications Analyst for a one-year limited tenure role supporting Oracle Cloud HCM Talent Management analytics. This role is crucial for enabling strategic investments in Oracle data, reporting, and analytics, focusing on Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) as the primary self-service reporting tool. The candidate will work across talent domains—Performance Management, Goals and Career Development, Talent Review, and Succession Planning—to deliver impactful reporting and analytics that inform workforce strategies and decisions. Success requires delivering data, reporting, and analytics via OTBI, BI Publisher, and FDI, covering all project stages: Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Acquisition and Preparation, Visualization/Model Development, Testing, Validation, Deployment, and Maintenance.

  • Build and maintain OTBI, BI Publisher, and FDI reports and dashboards following best practices and user-focused strategies.
  • Collaborate with users to define requirements (FDDs/TDDs), building credibility and understanding their needs.
  • Translate complex data needs into meaningful analytics supporting HR and leadership decisions.
  • Extend semantic models and subject areas to meet data and reporting needs.
  • Support recurring and ad hoc reporting for testing and validation.
  • Validate data integrity and assess impact on end-to-end R&A solutions.
  • Engage with project partners for documentation, updates, and knowledge transfer.
  • Assist in creating FAQs, job aids, and training materials.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship or visa transfer.

This is a 100% remote, limited tenure role with an end date of approximately one year.



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience in HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or IT. Alternatively, H.S. Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience. Vendor certifications may be required. Healthcare experience and knowledge of administrative systems are preferred. Experience with project management, systems analysis, software testing, data management, and analysis is advantageous. Candidates should be customer-oriented, responsive, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud HCM reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, OAC), especially in Talent Management areas.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Talent Management data structures.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Data Warehouse, and Data Integrator.
  • Background as a data scientist or analytics developer.
  • Experience with Eightfold is a plus.
