Job summary

Accylerate is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX/PLSQL Developer to modernize legacy Oracle PL/SQL Web Toolkit applications and migrate them to secure Oracle APEX solutions.

You will work on critical public health systems with HIPAA considerations, develop complex SQL/PLSQL, and integrate RESTful and SOAP services while safeguarding PII/PHI data.

Strong Oracle database expertise and web security focus are essential for delivering scalable, resilient applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Database 11g/18c/19c.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on Oracle APEX development.
• Experience with PL/SQL Web Toolkit applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience securing web applications handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle APEX applications for vital records modernization.
• Migrate existing Oracle PL/SQL Web Toolkit applications and modules to Oracle APEX.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable web applications following industry best practices.
• Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain mission-critical applications supporting state and federal agency data exchanges.
