Job summary

Creative Information Technology Inc (CITI) is seeking an Oracle APEX developer to join a government healthcare IT team working on VVESTS for the Virginia Department of Health. You will plan, coordinate, develop, and implement data modernization initiatives for vital statistics and vital records projects.

The role focuses on creating new Oracle APEX pages and components, strengthening security controls, and improving user experience with modern UI capabilities while ensuring long-term

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database and versions 11g/18c/19c.
• 5+ years of strong SQL and PL/SQL development experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and packages.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, develop, and implement data modernization initiatives for vital statistics and vital records projects.
• Strengthen security controls and ensure HIPAA compliance for VVESTS.
• Create new Oracle APEX pages and components to support VVESTS modernization.
• Ensure long-term sustainability and maintainability of VVESTS platform.
