Job summary

CF&I Steel, L.P. is seeking a software developer to design and maintain systems supporting production, quality, and shipping at Rocky Mountain Steel Mills in Pueblo, CO. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver MIS solutions using Oracle technologies.

The role requires hands-on experience with Oracle Developer Suite, PL/SQL, JavaScript and web development. Manufacturing experience is a plus, along with a commitment to continuous improvement and training

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
1–2 years of experience designing, developing and deploying applications within Oracle Developer Suite 11g.
Experience with data modeling, PL/SQL, JavaScript and general web development.
Oracle APEX, JSON/RESTful Web Services and Linux/UNIX scripting experience.
Experience with relational databases; Oracle 12C preferred.

Responsibilities

Research and design software systems supporting production, quality, and shipping.
Troubleshoot and maintain MIS applications as required.
Develop and deploy software as needed for manufacturing.
Gather requirements by scheduling meetings with operations and shipping users.
Provide training and support for custom applications to manufacturing personnel.
Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms/Reports, PL/SQL, SQL.
Develop and deploy DSI mobile app to scanners and mobile devices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
