Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking an Oracle APEX / PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications built on Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate will work with business stakeholders, developers, and DBAs to deliver secure, scalable, user-friendly solutions.

You will design, develop, and optimize applications using Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and REST APIs, while ensuring performance, security, and adherence to SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on Oracle APEX development.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle database development.
• Strong front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Oracle APEX UI customization.
• Experience with REST APIs and secure software practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop and support complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
• Create responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Customize Oracle APEX components (Interactive Reports/Grids, forms, actions).
• Develop client-side functionality using JavaScript and Oracle APEX APIs.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and web services with Oracle APEX.
• Optimize performance through SQL tuning and troubleshooting.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, testing and deployments.
• Develop reusable components and maintain technical documentation.
