Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Completion of formal education/training to obtain a Certification as a Surgical Tech.
• Certification as a Surgical Tech required.
• CPR certification recommended.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgical team as primary scrub person, handling instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery using appropriate techniques.
• Maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
• Coordinate with circulating nurse to provide supplies and equipment for designated procedures.
• Document sponge, instrument and needle counts and monitor patient safety during case progress.
