Job summary

QualDerm Partners in Wayzata, MN is seeking a Surgical Technologist to work closely with the OR team, assisting surgeons, anesthesiology staff, and nurses. The role requires independence, attention to detail, and adherence to department policies.

Responsibilities include scrubbing General Surgery, instrument processing, room setup, passing instruments, counting supplies, and maintaining sterility. Eligibility includes formal training, CPR, and Surgical Technologist certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal training program.
• Two years direct experience scrubbing General Surgery cases.
• At least one year experience processing instruments.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification.
• CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical skills in the operating room.
• Set up the operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, adjust lights and equipment, pass instruments to surgeons.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesia personnel, RNs, and other professionals in the OR.
• Perform similar duties in other areas of the practice as assigned.
• Maintain sterility and process instruments and sterilization.
