Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a private, nonprofit hospital serving a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safe patient environments, and compassionate teamwork.

The position requires an RN license in Florida with BLS/CPR certification, and an Associate degree in nursing; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Licensed RN in Florida per the Nurse Practice Act.
• BLS or CPR certification from an AHA instructor.
• Other specialized life support requirements per work area.

Responsibilities

• Provides care through collaboration with the healthcare team and the nursing process.
• Leads, mentors, and role models for other healthcare team members.
• Coordinates and delegates care in a safe, secure, and clean environment.
• Respect for patient rights, dignity, values, confidentiality, and needs.
• Uses evidence-based practice and IT while reducing pain and anxiety.
• Follows TMH policies, procedures and requirements.
