Job summary

Jefferson Health’s Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a Surgical Resource Nurse in the Operating Room for a full-time day shift. You will coordinate perioperative care, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

You will develop care plans with patients and families, follow evidence-based practices, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while upholding patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural considerations.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques and partnership with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning and nursing judgment.
• Knowledge of discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Knowledge of medication administration and prescription considerations.
• Knowledge of health information documentation and electronic records.
