Fillmore County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will perform comprehensive perioperative care, support sterile technique, and advocate for patients during surgical procedures.

The role requires Nebraska RN licensure, BLS, and ideally one year of surgery experience in a rural setting; ACLS preferred. On-call weeknights and weekends are required for OR staff, with hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays.

Formación

• Graduate from an approved school/college of nursing.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska.
• Minimum one year of surgery experience in a rural health setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care.
• Provide safe, therapeutic care during surgical intervention with sterile technique.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes, ensuring accurate shift handoffs.
• Communicate effectively with the health team and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor safety; follow HIPAA and privacy policies.
