Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in healthcare or completion of an advanced healthcare program preferred.
• Experience with hospital equipment and surgical devices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proper use of equipment after training in a surgical environment.
• Troubleshoots failed equipment during critical operating room times.
• Provides staff education to operate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintains inventory of surgical specialty equipment and coordinates maintenance with Clinical Engineering.
