Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a dedicated on-site team member to provide basic care services, transport patients and equipment, and maintain cleanliness in the perioperative area. The role supports the Product Coordinator with supplies and logistics to ensure smooth daily operations.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and may require BLS certification. It offers full-time on-site work with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly wages based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous patient care experience/skills preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• BLS Certification may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes OR suite cleaning for room turnover and cleans common areas within the perioperative area.
• Assists with transferring, transporting and positioning of patients using proper body mechanics.
• Assists in OR setup for each case and exchanges equipment as needed, then cleans and stores items after cases.
• Handles and transports specimens according to policies and procedures.
• Stocks shelves and linen, and assists in putting away warehouse supplies daily.
