Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to support the OR team during the evening shift. Responsibilities include cleaning operating rooms and surrounding areas, preparing rooms for procedures, and managing supplies and transport tasks under RN supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, up to six months of related experience (one year preferred), and BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required upon hire.
• Up to six months of related experience is required; one year in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides environmental services and assists with room turnover by cleaning operating rooms, furniture, scrub areas, cores, and hallways.
• Maintains inventory of linens and supplies in the sub-sterile area and in the OR; handles disposal and replacement of used supplies.
• Assists with patient positioning under RN direction and helps with inpatient/outpatient transports; transports specimens to the lab and maintains warming cabinets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
