Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to support the Operating Room team in Mesa, AZ. You will clean ORs and adjacent areas, manage turnover, and assist with patient positioning under RN guidance to maintain readiness for procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification on hire, with preferred candidates having hospital housekeeping experience. Evening shifts apply, with weekend/holiday call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: vocational training or certifications in healthcare support.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean the operating rooms and surrounding areas per guidelines.
• Perform terminal cleans and ensure turnover supplies are stocked.
• Transport specimens, blood products and equipment as needed.
• Assist with patient positioning under RN supervision.
