Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking an Orderly for a full-time position at our Coconut Creek facility in Florida.

The role supports surgical services by maintaining clean, ready operating areas, assisting with patient transport, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available. Under RN supervision, you will participate in turnover, waste disposal, and routine cleaning, while adhering to safety policies and improving workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least six months of experience as an Environment Attendant; hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established cleaning methods and perform routine cleaning of OR rooms and areas.
• Keep equipment in good working condition and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with room turnover and preparation for following procedures.
• Collect and dispose of wastes including biohazardous materials.
• Assist with patient care in operating, recovery, and procedure rooms under RN supervision.
• Order and stock supplies for assigned areas.
• Perform routine cleaning of designated areas and support infection control measures.
• Support continuous patient flow and pre-operative readiness with clean stretchers or recliners.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients and facility information.
