Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) seeks an Orderly Aide for a full-time role at our Coconut Creek, Florida site. Under supervision, you will support surgical services, assist with turnover, transport patients, and help maintain a clean, safe environment across OR areas.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient flow, stocking supplies, disposing of waste, and supporting infection control procedures. The position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Current BLS.
• At least six months of experience as an Environment Attendant. Hospital experience preferred.
• Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
• Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned OR rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.
• Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
• Assists with room turnover and preparation for following procedures in a timely manner.
• Collects and properly disposes of all wastes including biohazardous materials.
• Assists with limited patient care in the operating, recovery, and procedure rooms as needed.
