The role supports surgical services by maintaining clean, ready operating areas, assisting with patient transport, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available. Under RN supervision, you will participate in turnover, waste disposal, and routine cleaning, while adhering to safety policies and improving workflow.

Under the direct supervision of the OR RN Coordinator and OR Director, the Orderly is responsible for support services as well as specific elements of direct patient care given in the Surgical Department. The Orderly assists with surgery flow (turnover of surgical suites), assures that adequate supplies are available as needed, cleaning, trash disposal, and any other duties assigned by his/her Coordinator or the Director of Surgical Services.
Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. and Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
