Job summary

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking an Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with physicians and the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

The role includes OR services nursing support, adherence to safety protocols, and patient education. Eligible candidates may receive up to a $30,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance; day shift hours available.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assesses patients, documents findings, and notifies care team of changes.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Supports surgeons and maintains sterile environment for procedures.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Adheres to infection control and safety standards.
