MemorialCare Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse, OR – Surgery Services, in Laguna Hills, CA. The RN will direct and coordinate nursing care in the Operating Room, following policy and procedure standards, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires CA RN licensure, a BSN, and OR experience; BLS is required, ACLS preferred, CNOR desirable, with weekend night and holiday call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One year+ acute OR experience recommended.
• BLS from AHA required.
• ACLS from AHA preferred.
• CNOR certification highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct unlicensed staff to support patient care.
• Coordinate patient care across the surgical continuum.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Utilize infection control policies and AORN standards.
• Document data accurately in the clinical information system.
• Teach patients and families about care plans.
• Act as a role model and mentor for staff.
