Corewell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at Lakeland Hospital Niles in Michigan. This full-time position supports a busy OR, with 40 hours per week, a Monday through Friday schedule, and on-call weekends.

The RN provides care under ANA guidelines, plans and discharges, and collaborates with patients and families. Candidates must be a MI-licensed RN with BLS by 90 days; orientation and credentialing follow hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years preferred or required.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) active license.
• If nursing school is non-accredited, minimum acute care experience or licensed health care role experience plus NCLEX must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under ANA scope of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Partner with patient/family to plan care and develop teaching strategies; document education in health records.

MI Registered Nurse (RN)

Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
