LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced RN for the Operating Room. The role offers an hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package. On-site work with on-call during non-business hours.

Four weeks in advance shift scheduling aims for predictability and team collaboration across surgical staff. You will evaluate patients pre-surgery, educate families, manage preoperative meds and IV therapy, perform site verification, and work with an interdisciplinary team

Formación

• RN license required
• Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing
• 2 years of experience required

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery
• Provide patient and family education about peri-operative process
• Prepare patients, including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and surgical site verification
• Participate in surgical site verification per hospital policy
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with providers, surgeons, and surgical staff
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care
• Monitor patient condition and document changes thoroughly
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up

Educación

Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
