Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
• RN License in state of employment
• Physical requirements: Medium work, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and collaborate with the team to meet those needs.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competence in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts accurately and confidentially and document status, interventions, and outcomes in real time.
• Promote patient safety and advocate for patients’ health rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness and effectiveness of teaching.
