Job summary

Crown Point Surgery Center in Parker, CO is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced ASC team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate perioperative care for all age groups, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes throughout the surgical pathway.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage intraoperative care.
• Perform counts to protect against retained foreign objects.
• Document nursing care and communicate patient status to the team.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
