Job summary

Covenant HealthCare in Michigan is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to plan, coordinate, and deliver patient care during operative procedures. You will assess, diagnose, intervene, and evaluate nursing care while ensuring safety and infection control standards, and you will educate and support assisting personnel.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, a Nursing degree, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience; familiarity with aseptic technique and crisis

Qualifications

• RN with a nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Michigan RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• AORN preferred.
• One year of RN experience required; acute care or unit-specific experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes priorities and makes ethically sound decisions.
• Administers and evaluates pharmacological and other therapeutic regimens.
• Responds to emergencies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Documents patient data to ensure continuity of care.
• Mentors team members and educates staff.
• Collaborates with all health care disciplines to facilitate patient outcomes.
