Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient-, family-, and care partner-centered care in planning and delivery.
• Cultural awareness and ability to respect diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication to convey information and partner with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Education of patients and care partners on condition, treatment, and medications.
• Knowledge of medication administration and safety for continuing treatment.
• Ability to develop discharge plans and coordinate follow-up care.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment, diagnosis, and clinical judgment.
• Understanding of health information documentation in medical records.
• Active RN license in state of practice (PA).
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification
