Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of FL.
• BLS required; CNOR preferred for OR nurses.
• ACLS required for PACU RNs only.
• Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the OR suite and greets patient, initiates hemodynamic monitoring.
• Monitors vital signs, documents status, and reports abnormal findings.
• Administers IV therapy and medications per policy.
• Assists anesthesia, handles blood products, and observes safety protocols.
• Performs pre/post-operative care and patient education.
