Mount Sinai Medical Center in South Florida is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for 5x8 shifts. The role requires current RN licensure in Florida, BLS certification, and CNOR preferred; ACLS is required for PACU roles with CPAN/CAPA preferred for peri-anesthesia staff.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, patient greeting and monitoring, assisting anesthesia, documentation, safety checks, and post-operative care per hospital policy. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• BLS certification required for OR nurses.
• CNOR preferred for OR nurses.
• ACLS required for PACU RNs; CPAN and/or CAPA preferred for peri-anesthesia nurses.
• RN licensure in the state of FL is required.

Aufgaben

• Prepares the OR suite to receive admissions and greets patients.
• Assists anesthesia with monitoring, blood products, and documentation of IV therapy.
• Performs 24-hour chart checks, aseptic prep, and medication administration.
• Maintains safety procedures, patient positioning, and post-operative care as per policy.
• Performs dressing changes, specimen labeling, and wound care per protocol.
