Job summary

Next Move Healthcare in Manhattan, KS is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical team. The OR RN will provide perioperative care across multiple specialties with a strong emphasis on orthopedics, total joint replacements, and sports medicine surgeries.

The facility operates six surgical suites, performs around 20 surgeries daily, and uses Meditech Expanse EMR.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required.
• Active RN license in Kansas.
• Orthopedic OR nursing experience required (JOINT replacement, sports medicine).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA/ARC).
• Experience with Zimmer and Arthrex instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple specialties.
• Serve as circulating RN coordinating patient care and OR safety.
• Support orthopedic surgeries including total joint replacements and sports medicine.
• Assist with case setup, equipment readiness and surgical counts.
• Maintain Meditech Expanse documentation and adapt to changing case assignments.
