Job summary

OrthoVirginia is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic center. You will circulate cases, prepare rooms and equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the patient’s surgical journey.

You'll advocate for patients before, during, and after surgery while maintaining precise documentation and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic center.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Verify patient identity, site, and procedure per safety protocols.
• Advocate for the patient before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
