Job summary

University of Maryland Faculty Physicians is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate intraoperative care and support pre- and postoperative care for surgical patients. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure a safe, efficient operation and high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license in the state and a minimum of two years of surgical experience, with scrub experience highly desirable to support the operating room team.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Minimum of two years surgical experience preferred; scrub experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned nursing care with surgical team.
• Monitor sterile environment during procedures.
• Assist anesthesia, scrub and medical staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare sterile environment and supplies for procedures.
• Assist in patient care and education conferences.
