Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role offers full-time, 36-hour weeks, with 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p) and on-call requirements.

A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants who have not recently received one. The RN will provide and coordinate comprehensive care in a high-acuity OR, joining a leading Level 1 trauma center and academic teaching hospital network with robust patient services and on-call

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Operating Room experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
