Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Carolinas Medical Center. This full-time role includes day shifts with call rotation in a high-volume cardiac service line.

You will work within a state-of-the-art CVOR team, providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA).
• CVOR experience strongly preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards and policies.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and clear communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
