Job summary

Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. This 0.9 FTE position provides 36 hours per week with a mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts, posted four weeks in advance. Typical shifts run 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

or 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with weekend and holiday call rotations. Join a high-volume surgical team utilizing advanced technologies such as the da Vinci Surgical System, MAKO, VELYS, and Spine Navigation.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to ensure patient safety and experience.
• Support the operating room team to maintain a collaborative and efficient environment.
