Job summary

Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital in Slidell, LA seeks an experienced OR nurse to advocate for patients and serve as a core member of the surgical team.

You will demonstrate aseptic technique, infection control, and emergency procedures while delivering high-level nursing care to patients and families in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a valid Louisiana RN license, BLS and ACLS, with PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum of 2 years OR Nursing experience.
• Must possess a valid Louisiana RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification.
• PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the patient's advocate and works as a member of the surgical team.
• Knowledgeable in aseptic technique, infection control, emergency procedures, and general operating room procedures.
• Functions as an RN to meet patient and family care needs with a high level of practice.
