Job summary

Corewell Health - Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care, collaborating with families to support goals and outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting education, coordinating with the Nurse Leader, and delivering patient-centered care within Corewell Health policies. This is a full-time, day-shift on-site role with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• 6–12+ months RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with patient/family to plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Document education and learning in health records.
• Partner with Nurse Leader and align with Corewell Health policies and procedures.

Education

Associate’s in Nursing

Bachelor’s in Nursing (within 5 years)

MI Registered Nurse (RN)

BLS within 90 days

RN experience 6–12+ months preferred
