Oklahoma Center for Orthopaedic Multi-Specialty Surgery in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an OR RN Circulator to provide safe, efficient perioperative care before, during, and after procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and sterile teams to ensure a positive surgical experience for every patient.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and committed to infection prevention, clinical excellence, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Oklahoma.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification.
• Conscious sedation testing completed.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Commitment to infection prevention and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process throughout the surgical experience.
• Prepare and coordinate operating room activities for scheduled procedures.
• Verify equipment, supplies, and instruments per case.
• Confirm patient identity, procedure, site, and consents prior to surgery.
• Assist anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient status and advocate for safety during perioperative care.
• Maintain documentation per hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in preparedness activities.
• Operate equipment safely and report safety concerns.
