Oklahoma Center for Orthopaedic Multi-Specialty Surgery in Oklahoma City is seeking an OR RN Circulator to support perioperative care, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the surgical process. You will work with surgeons, anesthesia, and staff to deliver a positive patient experience.

The role requires strong organizational skills, infection control, and commitment to patient safety, with responsibilities across preop, intraop, and postop care; weekend/evening requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Oklahoma.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Conscious sedation testing completed.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced OR.
• Commitment to infection prevention and patient safety.

Responsabilités

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the surgical experience.
• Prepare and coordinate operating room activities for scheduled procedures.
• Verify equipment, supplies, and instruments for each case.
• Confirm patient identity, procedure, site, and consents prior to surgery.
• Assist anesthesia providers during perioperative care.
• Monitor patient status and advocate for safety during perioperative period.
• Maintain documentation per hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in emergency preparedness.
