OR RN Days/Eves & Weekend Rotate 40hrs. *** 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule; 1-2 rotations to Eves (1p-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule. ON CALL REQUIRED. 1. Unit Name: Operating Room. 2. Brief Unit Description: Level III Trauma OR; complex community setting. 3. Years of Experience Required: 1-2 years. 4. Skill Sets Required: Basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, multispecialty competence. 5. Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1. 6. Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric. 7. Bed Count: 15. 8. Census: approximately 30 - 40 patients per day. 9. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. 10. Floating Required: No. 11. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes. Day Rotate requires rotation to 2-3 Eves per 4-week schedule. Weekend Rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule. Rotation is not required for Night shift. 12. Call Requirement: 1 Holiday Call. 2-3 Weekday calls per 4-week schedule. 1-2 Weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekend shift will include Call. (Example: Working Sat. from 7a-5:30p, Call will be from 5:30p 11p). 13. Certifications Required: Massachusetts RN License. BLS. 14. Additional Information: BSN & CNOR preferred, scrub experience preferred.
