Department/Unit: Education And Development

Work Shift: Day (United States of America)

Salary Range: $78,773.63 - $122,099.12

Position Overview

The Education Specialist is responsible for leading the design and development of systems that support staff involvement in practice, research, education, and quality decisions. This role promotes a collaborative environment where nurses practice at the highest level of licensure. The position involves participating in the design, development, and implementation of orientation and continuing education programs for individuals and groups within the nursing organization. Educational outcomes are evaluated and linked to quality processes and patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with hospital-based clinical leaders and educators to promote competency, ongoing learning, and high-quality, safe patient care.
Qualifications
  • BSN required; MSN/DNP strongly preferred.
  • Recent acute care experience required.
  • Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS and PALS Certification strongly preferred.
  • Previous AHA or ENA Instructor credentials strongly preferred.
