Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a skilled perioperative registered nurse to join its NY network. You will evaluate patients pre, intra, and postoperatively, implement perioperative plans of care, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical continuum.

Qualified applicants have NY RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, BSN preferred, and CNOR preferred. Two years of perioperative experience is desirable, with strong communication and teamwork to support high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current New York State RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Two years perioperative services experience preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at intervals per policies and procedures.
• Develop individualized perioperative plan of care and administer medications safely.
• Protect patient from injury and ensure correct site/side for procedures.
• Manage specimens and communicate patient status across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in quality review and improvement.
• Maintain patient privacy and advocate for patients throughout perioperative care.
