Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide nursing care during surgery. The OR RN will position, prep, and circulate the patient, and evaluate care for all age groups in the OR.

Works within nursing standards and Center policies, communicating with physicians, patients, families, and staff. Additional duties may include participation in quality improvement audits, committees, and leadership activities as designated by nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in PA.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS required upon hire and required within one year of hiring date.
• Ability to Scrub and Circulate as needed.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
