Job summary

The University of Iowa's Medical Center University Campus in Iowa City is seeking a Registered Nurse to ensure the availability of OR case resources and coordinate with OR, Supply Chain, and Sterile Processing teams. Primary hours are 1st shift, on campus.

You will maintain instruments and equipment, implement evidence-based care plans, and support policies to ensure patient safety and high-quality care with strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current license to practice nursing in Iowa.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of OR case resources and coordinate with OR, Supply Chain, and Sterile Processing.
• Resolve resource limitations from remote locations to ensure patient care.
• Maintain and update instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Develop care plans and protocols based on evidence-based research.
• Support policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance to improve quality and efficiency of care delivery.
