Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for scrubbing and/or circulating duties in operative procedures at healthcare facilities in Towson, MD. The role reports to the Nurse Manager and is supervised by an RN in the OR.

Requirements include current RN licensure in the practicing state, BLS, and PPD/Chest X-Ray; OR experience preferred within the last three years. Travel position includes weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• One year OR experience in a acute care hospital preferred in last three years.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures in the OR.
• Assist with admissions to the operative suite.
• Report to Nurse Manager and operate under supervision of the RN in the OR.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
