Job summary

Ma’at Enterprises is seeking Registered Nurses to support the Phoenix Indian Medical Center Operating Room. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, an active RN license without disciplinary actions, and certifications such as BCLS/CPR and ACLS/PALS/NALS as required by the specialty.

Positions are full-time in Phoenix, AZ. Immunizations and health clearance are required, and prior OR nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with 2 years in the specialty.
• Current RN license free from disciplinary actions.
• BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, NALS certifications as required by specialty.
• Active immunizations and health clearance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the nursing process for admitted patients and educate them.
• Carry out physician orders and administer medications and therapies.
• Manage therapeutic devices and equipment used in the OR.
• Measure and assess vital signs, status, and responses to treatment.
• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document care and changes in patient condition in the unit records.
• Collaborate with health care providers and hospital staff.
• Assign and supervise ancillary nursing staff in patient care.
• Perform quality checks for crash carts, labs, and glucose monitoring.
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, etc.) as needed.
• Recognize emergencies and initiate resuscitation measures.
• Identify adverse reactions and intervene appropriately.
• Answer calls, screen and initiate medical orders as needed.

Education

AS Degree in Nursing (A.S. degree)

BSN preferred
