Job summary

WVU Health System seeks a Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic imaging and patient care within the Radiology Department. The role includes performing imaging procedures across Fluoro, Mobiles, Routine, OR, Endoscopy and Orthopedics with focus on safety and quality imaging.

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess Radiography License as required by the state board where services will be provided.
• Must be nationally certified per location (ARRT).
• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Rotate in all Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills.
• Perform image procedures based on patient assessment and imaging protocols.
• Produce high-quality images with appropriate exposure factors.
• Educate patients regarding radiographic procedures and answer questions.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure efficient patient care.
