Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Sarasota, FL, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Operating Room. Under the direction of the pain medicine physician, you will perform radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and intervention.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 14:00–22:30; on-call and holidays. OR radiology experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida State Radiographers License issued by the department of Radiation Control.
• ARRT certification and current registration required.
• On-call availability and OR radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures in the Operating Room under physician direction.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation or radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
