Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Collier Campus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room Peri-Op Program. This role covers multiple perioperative services and requires collaboration with surgeons and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

The position includes a 5x8 shift with call requirements, a 2-year agreement, and full/part-time incentives such as medical, vision, dental, and 401k match. Prior OR perioperative experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in clinical nursing required.
• Active RN license for FL or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Ability to work in OR perioperative setting and follow protocols.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Document assessments and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Provide post-procedure education and discharge planning.
• Ensure infection control and safe equipment operation.
