Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Collier Campus in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room Peri-Op Program. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered perioperative care, coordinating assessments, and collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The RN will administer medications, monitor patient responses, assist during procedures, and contribute to education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• 2+ years or relevant perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred or as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered perioperative care in line with nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects per standards.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Implements infection control and safety protocols throughout care.
• Educates patients and families on procedures, post‑op care, and discharge instructions.
