Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced Operating Room Pediatric Nurse/OR Circulator to join a child-centered, cutting-edge surgical team. This role supports pediatric patients and families through perioperative care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses; requirements include Wisconsin RN license and BLS; shifts include 10-hour days with on-call, reporting within 30 minutes, and orientation 6:50am-3:20pm for six

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Wisconsin RN license required; proof on or before first day.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

These positions also requires weekday, weekend and holiday call requirements (must report to the hospital within 30 mins). Orientation will be Monday through Friday from 6:50am until 3:20pm with off shift rotation. Must be able to orientate full time for 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience).
• A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Candidates must show proof of license on or before first day of employment.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
